His devastated family said “he would have made the perfect father”.The following day, meanwhile, armed police were this time deployed to Kingstanding in north Birmingham after two staggering crimes just 30 minutes apart.At 2pm on July 21, a masked gunman stormed into bookmakers Coral on the Kingstanding Circle, threatening to shoot petrified staff before making off with a bag of cash.Officers subsequently arrested a 31 year old.Then, just half an hour later, a 32 year old man was stabbed in the chest in a vicious broad daylight street attack.Covered in blood, the victim was knifed on Kingstanding Road, near to the junction with Harringay Road, at around 2.30pm.
